### Free Canvas Mode is here

We've completely reimagined how you can organize your bookmarks. Canvas Mode gives you an infinite, freeform workspace where your bookmarks come to life — no more rigid grids.

**What's new:**

- **Infinite canvas** — Pan and zoom freely across an unlimited workspace. Drag your bookmarks anywhere and resize them however you like.
- **Sticky notes** — Add colorful notes directly alongside your bookmarks to capture thoughts, reminders, or context.
- **Rich text pages** — Create full documents on the canvas with headers, formatted text, and checklists — great for keeping reference material next to your links.
- **Visual connectors** — Draw lines between elements to show relationships, build mind maps, or link related bookmarks together.
- **Canvas folders** — Group bookmarks into folders right on the canvas. Double-click to dive in, drag items in and out, and nest folders as deep as you need.
- **Undo / redo** — Made a mistake? Step back and forward through your changes with full undo/redo support.
- **Auto-organize** — One click to snap everything into a clean grid layout.
- **Keyboard shortcuts** — Delete, duplicate, nudge, select all, and more — all from the keyboard.

### Bookmarkify 2.0 — Introducing Team Collaboration, A New Look & Guided Tutorials

**We're thrilled to announce Bookmarkify 2.0** — our biggest update yet. This release brings the features you've been asking for: real-time team collaboration, a completely redesigned interface, and an interactive onboarding experience to help you get the most out of Bookmarkify.🤝 Team Collaboration — Build Your Inspiration Library TogetherThe standout feature of version 2.0 is **Team Collaboration**. Now you can invite your design team, creative partners, or clients to share a unified bookmark library.

### How It Works

- **Create or Join a Team**: Set up a team workspace with one click. Invite members by email and they'll have instant access.
- **Switch Between Personal & Team**: Use the new toggle at the top of your bookmark library to switch between your personal collection and your team's shared bookmarks.
- **Real-Time Sync**: When a teammate saves a bookmark, it appears in the shared library instantly. No refreshing. No syncing delays.
- **See Who Saved What**: Each team bookmark shows who added it, so you can track contributions and spark conversations around shared finds.

Whether you're building a moodboard with a client, collaborating on a rebrand, or just sharing cool sites with your studio — Bookmarkify now makes that seamless.

## **A Completely Redesigned Interface**

We've given Bookmarkify a fresh coat of paint. The new UI is cleaner, more focused, and designed to stay out of your way while you work.

### What's Changed

- **Refined Visual Design**: Softer shadows, improved spacing, and a more cohesive color palette across the entire extension.
- **Streamlined Header**: The top navigation is more intuitive, with better organization of controls and a clearer visual hierarchy.
- **Improved Bookmark Cards**: Each bookmark now displays more elegantly, with better image scaling and smoother hover interactions.
- **Smarter Dropdowns & Menus**: The view mode selector, settings panel, and other menus have been rebuilt for better usability.
- **Dark Mode Polish**: If you use dark mode, you'll notice it looks even better now with improved contrast and consistency.

The goal was simple: make Bookmarkify feel like a tool designed by designers, for designers.

## **Better UX Across the Board**

Beyond the visual refresh, we've improved how Bookmarkify _feels_ to use.

### Keyboard Shortcuts

Power users, this one's for you. You can now switch view modes instantly with single-key shortcuts:

No more clicking through menus — just press a key and you're there.

- **Better Edit Mode**: Entering and exiting edit mode is more intuitive, with clearer visual feedback.
- **Improved Design Analysis**: The color palette and typography extraction now launches faster and displays results more clearly.

New to Bookmarkify? We've got you covered.

### Guided Product Tour

When you first open Bookmarkify 2.0, you'll be greeted with an **interactive onboarding experience** that walks you through the key features:

1. **View Modes** — Learn how to switch between grid, fullscreen, and other layouts
2. **Editing Bookmarks** — See how to enter edit mode and update your bookmarks
3. **Adding Tags** — Understand how to organize with flexible, filterable tags
4. **Filtering by Tags** — Learn to quickly narrow down your library
5. **Design Analysis** — Discover how to extract colors and fonts from any saved site

The tour highlights each feature step-by-step with short video clips, so you can see exactly what to do.

### **Video Tutorials in Settings**

Missed the onboarding or want a refresher? All **6 tutorial videos** are available anytime in the Settings panel:

- View Modes (Parts 1 & 2)
- Editing a Bookmark
- Adding Tags
- Filtering by Tags
- Analyzing a Website's Design

Just open Settings, navigate to the Tutorial section, and replay any video you need.

## **Upgrading to 2.0**

Bookmarkify 2.0 is available now in the Chrome Web Store. If you have automatic updates enabled, you may already have it. Otherwise, head to the store and hit "Update." **Your existing bookmarks are safe.** All your personal bookmarks will be right where you left them after the update.
